Over 100 local members of Tri Kappa volunteer and fundraise in Valparaiso to promote Charity, Culture, and Education. One of the many places where members donate their time is by reading to children at the Hilltop Neighborhood House. Hilltop provides quality care and education to children to nourish the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical skills that they will carry with them on their journey through life.

Peggy Burnell (pictured) is a member of Tri Kappa and has read at Hilltop many times. “I love looking into the faces of these little children and seeing the expression on their faces as they listen to the stories!” A first time reader at Hilltop, Beth Hill said “to experience their excitement and hear their giggles while I read to them was pure joy!”
