Girls Night Out Success for a Second Year

The 2nd Annual Girls Night Out, a fundraiser for the Valparaiso chapter of Tri Kappa was held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Urschel Laboratories in Chesterton. Over 120 participants entered the event red carpet-style, kicking the evening off with a photo station donated by Blackbean Photography. The room was abuzz with smiles and laughter, but erupted when Disposable Theatre took the stage. The improv comedy troupe worked each skit with expert finesse, ending with a roar of laughter and applause.

Vendors provided the perfect mingling place where women chatted, sipped on the signature cocktail, and splurged on a diverse selection of clothing and gifts for men and women provided by Beyond Pink, CL Creates, Korey’s Blossoming Beauties, Lemons & Grace, Luketti, LuLaRoe (Mandi Cooley, Matilda Jane, and Kimberly Wood), Rusted Oak, Seasons on the Square, Serenity Salon & Spa, Stella & Dot (Angela Kerner), The Vein & Laser Clinic, and Thirty-one (Polly Schroeder-Murphy).

Special thanks to Urschel Laboratories for donating the space, and to Main + Lincoln, Chopin Theatre, Board & Brush, Ivy Boutique, Blondie’s Hair Detailing, and Serenity Spa for donating raffle items.

Event sponsors: The Vein and Laser Clinic, Vogelsang Asset Management, Kotys Wealth Professionals, Burgerhaus, and The Yoga Sanctuary also contributed to the success of the evening, helping Tri Kappa’s mission to further culture, education and charity in our community. One hundred percent of our profits go right back into the Valparaiso area in the form of scholarships, community grants, and service projects.Screen Shot 2016-09-25 at 8.24.47 PM.png
