Tri Kappas are generous spirits and give countless hours each month organizing the chapter in various committees and subcommittees as well as doing community outreach. Some service comes in the form of cooking or baking to show appreciation, while craftier members make fleece blankets and puppy pillows for the Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Other members volunteer time weekly to read to children at the Hilltop House childcare program. As a group, we sponsor programs to benefit the community, such as an annual presentation from Holocaust survivor Eva Mozes Korr at VHS and a 2014 presentation of Half the Sky at VU’s first annual MLK Week Diversity Program.
